In this project our client wanted a secluded retreat to visit on the weekends. We worked with him to design and build a small but functional cabin outfitted with a propane fireplace with natural stone, tongue and groove ceilings throughout, and a stunning live edge island. We optimized this cabin for occasional use by installing a propane Rinnai Tankless water heater, countered with an efficient electric heat pump with remote control capabilities, keeping the cabin heated all year, but providing a boost of propane only when needed!
